
All scanned gears were picked randomly from the manufacturing process with none bias to a selected end result. The COCO annotator was used to generate bounding-boxes around the scanned damaged tooth defects. From these scans, 1711 images automotive gears had been discovered to have a defect, and a complete of 3172 defects had been labeled. The labeled defects had sizes starting from 0.55 to 10.forty five mm, and an average of 2.04 mm.
